Mitch Babin

I created my own business, Babin's Web Page Design, when I retired from the United States Air Force (USAF) in May 2001. I have been creating small business and informational websites for the past 11 years. I partly put my business on hold when I was asked to join the Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) at Wright-Patterson in 2003. I developed and maintained several classified and unclassified websites for the NOSC which supported 125,000 users.

I retired from the USAF after 22 years as an Information Manager (IM). I retired as a Chief Master Sergeant and my last position was the Functional Manager for approximately 1,100 IMs throughout Air Force Material Command (AFMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB. My primary job was to ensure the transition from the "paper" era to the "digital" era. I established training programs for web design and workgroup managers.

I used my first computer in 1983 and bought my first computer, IBM PS 2, in 1987. I have been using computers for the past 27 years and have seen the amazing progress of the internet.

I currently use Adobe Dreamweaver Creative Cloud to help develop and build my sites. I have been using Dreaweaver for 14 years now, well before Adobe purchased them from Macromedia. I also use the entire suite of Adobe products: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Writer, Flash and Fireworks. I have been using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook) of applications since they first came out.

I have had a US Top Secret security clearance since 1981 and it was updated in December 2009. I have a CompTIA "Security+" certification, a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Management.

I recently moved to the Warsaw, Indiana vicinity and plan on going full time back into web development. Let me help you grow and put you on the map! Contact me at 513-677-1213/574-594-2544 or email me at the address below.
